new better pic

my very humble Squier Vibe 60s with amp knobs and Texas Specials

but I must say....best money I have ever spent on a guitar

sfmelo, that is the sweetest squier strat that i have seen on this board.
it looks nicer than even some stock mims.
love the mods, ts, snd the knobs are awesome.

thanks a lot bluesstrattone for the compliment.
I love the look of the amp knobs on the guitar, quick cheap style upgrade imo

Thinking about a few other minor mods like a steel trem block and maybe a graphite string tree

Here is my MIM Strat, just finished installing the SD's, as you can see I like just a volume knob!

I got a new guitar the other week and my dad "built" it himself! He took a Fender Squier Bullet Strat body/neck and completely replaced all of the electronics (Texas special pickups by the Fender Custom shop and more), tuners, tremolo bar, pick guard, nobs (aged-white), etc... It's a replica of Stevie Ray Vaughan's number 1 guitar!

It's an amazing guitar, it has a great blues sound!!

He was able to keep it a secret for about a couple weeks while he worked on it!

Here it is:

1) You'll need to have your pictures posted on the web someplace (Photo Bucket, for instance)

2) Click the "img" button where you post your message.

3) Type or paste the link to the image you wish to have shown next to the "[img]" you've just inserted.

4) The "[/img]" will appear at the end of your limage link without you needing to type it once you've posted your response.

5) That should do it!

Yeah- it's not a very common colour... someone correct me but they stopped using it in '95... I really hope Fender bring it back someday :D

My '93 American Standard is that color....absolutely gorgeous. Incidentally, mine came with a black-tipped tremolo arm.
