Just got mine buttoned up last night and couldn't wait to share. It's certainly not a Custom Shop, or even American for that matter. But I love it.

2008 MIM Standard, Sunburst with Rosewood. Then I added the Pearl pickguard with a No-Load tone control for the Bridge and Middle for the Delta Tone circuit, and topped it off with some Tex Mex PUPs.

I can't put her down.

Pretty guitar. I bet it kills with the Tex Mex, huh? How do you like it?

Here's my 1991 MIM Strat. The early MIM's were excellent guitars; I had the dough for a MIA when I got this in '92 but after playing several American Standards next to this I preferred the MIM! These early MIM's with the glossy necks, alder bodies with deep contours and excellent pups are gold IMO...

I did like the stock pups, they sound great if you play with the pickup height. But the Tex Mex are fantastic. Very Bright and responsive, add a little overdrive and they're in their glory. Just fantastic. Now that it's done I'm going to play the hell out of it and start looking for a new project. There's a Classic '72 Tele Thinline RI for sale locally for $500 in mint shape. It's got my eye now. Are they MIM or MIA, no that it matters.

Guitars are like Tatoos. Once you get one, you HAVE to get another. Then another.

Here's my Stratocaster. I've been learning how to play for just about a year now. Since this pic was taken I installed Sperzel locking turners to make string changing easier.

I just got my MIA HSS Standard Strat for Christmas and I haven't been able to put it down. Sounds beautiful, and was a huge upgrade from my old guitar (I'm flat broke now though lol). I still have to name it too...[/url]

Here's a few of my Strats, including my brand new (to me) MIM '98 Strat and my Arctic white parts-o-caster with Virtual Vintage pickups! These are two out of nine guitars, my only two Fenders.
