You guys do know that the guy who posted that was John Mayer, right? Just look at everything that he posted and all the replies that were made to them. You'll see what I mean.

Disclaimer: this is strictly a theory...haha. But I do know that I'm not the only one that has been thinking this.

who are you talking about Perry?

You are not talking about the guy with the Relic Black strat are you? becouse that is definitly NOT john mayer it is infact this guy: http://www.youtube.com/l33tm4n321

No, I presume he's talking about that wall full of Fenders posted by sealoblues1. Some other pics of those guitars too on early pages of this thread. There was a theory bouncing around that sealoblues1 is actually John Mayer. Never proved, never disproved...

I thought so...!

Have you put this next to the Sienna Sunburst - how does this color compare?

It is a more reddish look to it. Not your normal burst. I love the difference! 8)

It's hard to tell without seeing them. A picture does not do it justice!

The reason I ask is that I was in a shop recently and they had a Am Std Sienna Sunburst and it wasn't quite what I was looking for in terms of color (Also being a Std, it didn't quite have the polish of my Tobacco Sunburst Deluxe).

I'll have to see if I can find a show with a Cherry Sunburst to see how this looks.

Let's do a little research, then! Here's his Photobucket account
http://s196.photobucket.com/albums/aa243/sealoblues/
I don't see any shots of Jennifer Aniston!

He's on a John Mayer Forum a lot: johnmayer.yuku.com
There he gave his name as Matt, 29, from VA, and his Youtube channel
www.youtube.com/blusiseal

He's a big John Mayer fan, but I don't think he's John Mayer.

Orville, in my imaginary world you do your numbers work for the CIA, or FBI, or some such. I hope so, because the bad guys don't stand a chance with you on the case!

I took a little tour through sealoblues' photos and now I'm wondering on three possibilities. 1. Is he such a fan that he's bought all that Mayer influenced gear himself, and that's his collection we're looking at? 2. Or is that in fact Mayer's gear in photos sealoblues has "borrowed" off the internet and claimed for his own, in the EVH manner? 3. Or is that Mayer's gear, and Mr sealoblues is in a position to have some access to it to take the photos - tech, roadie or whatever?

Some of the stage shots of Mayer and Clapton are taken from angles right at the front of the stage that only someone with an all-areas pass could get to. Or they're official pics lifted from the net, of course...

If that's just fandom we're looking at, crikey, it's a bit obsessive, ain't it? I bet Jennifer Aniston is glad that attention ain't being focused on her...

Cheers - C

when you have a picture at photo-bucket, just copy the URL that says:

and paste that url in the body of the text.
