WOW, you have an H.M. Strat AND "The Strat"? do they play any good? I hear the trem system was a mess with those.

love the '60 reissue. gold and blue really go well together...

Thank you Chanman,

No, I don't have issues with the trems on either one anymore. I never had a trem issue with the HM Strat, in fact, that guitar just won't die.
The 1980 "Strat" I modified with the LSR roller nut, Ezy Glider string trees, and Locking tuners. No more trem issues there.
Both play extremely well, and the 1980, has a voice like no other strat. Is'nt it funny how my Surf Green Strat looks blue when I post pics?

Don't be sorry man, a lot of folks do that.
In fact, I should apologize for the camera misleading people that way

Cap, That's a pretty Fat Strat, The tortoise shell pickguard looks good on that color scheme. May I ask what pickups come in those?

Unicorns, so what if it's a Squier? it give you the same joy you'd probably get from a Fender. Can't miss that kill switch, not even at night, in a fog, underwater.

Fhopkins, That must be a Gilmore Strat. Seems a little odd to me since for so many years, all his other Strats have EMG's in them. That's a pretty one no less. I'd like to play that one straight into that Twin amp which also looks like it has a tone to die for. I'll bet that must have a killer tone by itself

Thanks for posting guys and making have to wipe some drool from the corner of my mouth.
