How do you like that ElDiablo? I have the combo version of that amp and it's sort of a love/hate thing going on with it. It's difficult to describe but it's a sort of compressed, not very dynamic sound that can overpower the subtleties of single coils. With my V is gets a great, crunchy gain tone but I have a heck of a time dialing in a good lead tone.

Here's a pic of the doubleneck I built some 18 months ago.

I am also proud of the (Gator) case modifications so that I could take it out of the house.

do you tune one neck differently to the other? How is it wired are their any special differences between the two necks? spill the beans.

Its one hell of a nice guitar.

Thanks. The hard-tail neck can be tuned however you like. My fave is DGDGBE.

The wiring is the unique thing. The hard-tail neck has a volume and a tone control. The trem neck has just a a volume. The output is in stereo as there is no "neck selector switch" on the guitar. The pickup selector switch works both necks via it's double throw feature. I run a stereo cable to an ABY box (which allows me to select the neck) and then from the box to an amp.
