New SRV Ocher Vine inlay behind the bridge, by JOCKOMO. They look GREAT and are very inexpensive. (compared to actual inlay)
http://stores.ebay.com/Jockomo-Inlay-Stickers
Also available: Faux Soundholes (4 styles-more to come) and 12th fret.
PS: The neck dots are Glow-in-the-Dark.

Hi dmc69, welcome to the Forum. What makes you think that Strat is Mexican, please? Does it say so somewhere? Do you know its history? I'm wondering if you actually have something slightly better there than you think - but I could easily be wrong...

Cheers - C

bluesstrattone & vwralph:
It is best that you use the link to check out ALL the designs available. No matter how cheap any sticker Jockomo has, there is a $9.50 USD S&H fee from Japan, up to 20 items. I'd suggest that you either purchase a bunch for yourself (for all the guitars in your collection) OR show the web site to as many guitar friends as you can and do a bulk order to save money. You and 9 other orders of just 2 apiece divides up to only 95 cents S&H each....... see? :D

BTW: There are over 100 designs and many have several versions, either color or style. Check them all out. It is well worth the time. I'm sure you will find something you like and want, even if it isn't for your guitar.

hey ceri,
it says so at the back of the headstock; it'd be pretty nice if it actually turns out to be something better than I think it is!
For it's history, I don't really know much, besides what the serial number tells me: made at the Esenada plant during the years 2002-2003 (thank you guitar dater project!). I was also told that it was a single factory run. That i'm not sure about. I've tried to do research, but nothing comes up for my specific strat.

Ah, well that squashes my theory - but a SFR is also very nice to have.

I love the logo! Enjoy...
