Here's $150 worth of good value. The relic job was not me! The plastic-ware is all new, all else is stock. MIM, probably late 90s.

Looks like some nice wood under that black paint. I'd sand it all down and
do a little on the cigarette burn too. A good number of clear-coat sprays,
re-assemble and you'd have one beautiful new-looking Strat!

Here is my Custom HSS "Thinline" Semi-Acoustic Strat: :D

FYI: Check out "JOCKOMO" on eBay & you will see some interesting things.

BTW: Those are metal 'Alice' picks from Silver Spring Music and my neck dots are Glow-in-the-Dark.

"IFFY" you had checked out JOCKOMO..... you wouldn't need to ask.... LOL
However, I respect your powers of observation.... and let me tell you this:
From a few feet, up on stage, etc. it's very hard to tell. If you'd like to add
a little pa-zazz or even some 'whimsy' to your axe, Jockomo has plenty of
designs to brighten up your day. Just go to eBay and input "inlay sticker".
Dragons, Vines, Birds, numerous types of position markers, headstock
embellishments and visually interesting guitar body upgrades. Many are
available in several different color-tones, from dark to light. Seriously, you
should check it out. Make your guitar really YOURS!

nothing wrong with stickers that look like a semihollow.
however im not into stickers on my axe. its kinda like putting a z71 sticker on a chevy silverado 2wd. doesnt go.
besides, i make my guitar mine when i play it. give or take, a few customizations here and there like pickguard or something like that.
just my 2 cts.

To each their own. Besides, I was 'speaking' as much to everyone as I was to you. Anyone interested
or even curious should take a look at what is available besides FAUX soundholes.... there's a LOT of
beautiful designs on that site. Super High-Resolution prints on VERY thin (but tough) material, self-sticking,
but also removable. Most of them LOOK just like abalone inlays at a tiny fraction of what real inlays would
cost. Many other 'shell' types too: Ocher, white pearl, black pearl, blues, greens and reds.
Thing is, you DON'T have to put them on your guitar.... you might have some other 'application' for them.
(excuse the pun) Believe me, it's worth the time to take a gander. (just don't steal the goose! hehehe)

We all have our own personal style..... some (like me) prefer wood grains, stained or sunburst, while others
prefer solid colors, such as the Black Custom Tele that belongs to a friend. (The other 3 are mine) Some of us
go on stage like we just got out of gym class, some prefer to dress in jeans, boots and a logo T-shirt.....
a few go with more formal attire, especially if the gig demands it. Most of us here apparently appreciate the
standard type of guitar while we are amazed at the crazy shapes others buy into. What you play
(music &/or guitar), How you play (laid back or wild) and how you project your image is a 'package'
thing.... I was just offering everyone an opportunity to enhance that package-image IF they choose to.

tisk, tisk
well, i totally understand that you were adressing everyone else here, as it is a forum. where anyone or most will scrutinize a particular topic in which there is a claim that is made.
i am not talking down your product at all, perhaps it may have been rude to make a statement on making my guitar mine by how i play or "iffy" of your initial claim on your guitar.

now, i would like to comment on your guitar. to be honest with you, your guitar looks amazing prior to the sticker. i like how you made it your own.

did you design the soundhole stickers yourself?
