I know I'm posting this in a strat thread, so there will be some bias, but my question is: What is your favorite electric guitar ever? Be specific; brand, model, pickups, and if there are any mods made to it.

My Favorite guitar is my White 88 Stratocaster my Parents and Gramma got me for my 17th Birthday. Fallowed closely by my Little Student Sized Global my Parents got from Sears when I was 6 or 8. (I remember being 8 my Mom remebers me being 6).

Sentimentality decides my personal favorites, but my favorite kind of guitar is a Well Set Up Stratocaster.

Hello Kibbs58,

My Favorite was my 1963 Gibson Johnny Smith
with the Johnny Smith floating pick-up.
Man that axe was a piece of art.
Sold it for Down payment on my home,
after all we couldn't live in a guitar.

Cheers.

I have 2 vintage guitars and a new strat. The strat is my favorite, I can sit there playing it for hours on end.

2006 Charvel San Dimas Zebra. Only 16 of them made. Duncan Custom 5 humbucker and a Floyd Rose. The neck on that guitar is to die for. It's my number 1 guitar. (don't worry, it's a 2006 so its a Charvel thats owned by Fender-LOL)

My favorite guitar is my 1997 Custom Shop Strat. Two-tone sunburst body, modern two point vibrato bridge, vintage styled tuners, birdseye maple neck, and Texas Special pickups. I bought it used for $1000 bucks a year and a half ago, and I've worn it in rather nicely... 8)

My ES-335 and my G&L Legacy with reverse headstock are about dead even for second though...

But my Clapton Strat is really nice too and my grandma got it for me before she passed...

DAMMIT... Guess I like all of them...

My favourite guitar is my black Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster, that has a big-peg 60's headstock.
I haven't modded it so far, but i'm planning on installing a set of Fender Vintage Noiseless Strat pickups with black covers.
I simply love the fact that it has a lighter body than some Fender Strats (i played some really heavy ones, and felt uncomfortable).
