i never know what half the ### people put mean!
It was months before I figured out MIM was made in Mexico.
I was thinking of getting a job at Bletchly Park just to dechipher what they mean.
VOS, Martians YMMV, PAF, and the letters when someone says there strat is this or that.
Confusing.

I think it's not a good idea to simply useful abbreviations, especially in an international forum, where we do not have the same habits. And often we do not call things the same way.

Martian's YMMV means Your Mileage May Vary; in other words, people might have different opinions.

I eventually worked it out for myself - but not before I'd tried many alternative possibilities! :D

Back in the day I had a friend who seemed to need to write LOL every second sentence. For a while I supposed it meant Lots Of Love, which fitted the context well sometimes - and not at all at other times. I thought; "OMG, this girl is just BURSTING with love!" but I was wrong.
