The serial number on the headstock I think....makes it is a 1994 MIM Stratocaster, but this guitar has been through some changes over the years.
Just wondering if was a "Plain Jane" strat of possibly a version of the deluxe model?
Ser.# MN406955
Thanks for all your opinions, guesses, and responses!
Happy New Year to all !

OK...I will post some pics shortly. This guitar has the original body and neck. It was turned into a decent Gilmour Tribute black strat...but it still retains the original neck and body. The tremolo, bridge, tuners, and knobs and pick ups I believe are changed from the original factory set up.

Nice guitar 8) it's a tex mex strat i think..now theres a similar model which is the Jimmie Vaughan Signature..i think this because of the radius of the fingerboard and the frets..looks different than a regular classic 50's mexican reissue

The serial number would probably indicate a 94-95 Strat. It looks like it started life as a Tex-Mex strat by the headstock, the vintage tuners and vintage bridge. The Tex Mex strat was made in Mexico in 1995 and 1996, and was the precursor of the Jimmy Vaughan signature strat. Your guitar looks like someone modded it into a David Gilmore strat. Very nice guitar by the way!

Yes...
It was modified into a Gilmour "tribute" guitar. I pulled the neck and stamped in the neck groove of the body is:

A 50668

SEP 24 1995

U8 0C 1535.....(this section of ink is hard to see from a light stamp)

I will include some pictures. Also has an empty routed hole under pick guard and neck groove.

It looks like a Strat Special. I had one just like it it was a special edition universal route body,
Did it originally have a Humbucker master volume and tone and a single coil switch for bridge in the second tone knob spot?
The decal was same on my head stock and i had vintage american hardware like yours. Mine was a 94 or 95 also.
