A little more information would be useful. What type of music do you play? High gain vs. low gain? Do you want to stay with single coils vs humbuckers?

If it's humbuckers you're looking for you might wanna consider the Seymour Ducan "Everything Axe" set. 3 humbuckers in single coil size; JB Jr in the bridge, duckbucker in the middle and a lil '59 in the neck. Available as a loaded pickguard too for the ease and convenience of "plug-and-play".

See what you think.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qGn6FWQJKc

You could get away with mid-range output. In my Blacktop Floyd Rose I am changing to a HSH configuration.

I like Schritzer's idea. For me I am going for a SD Pearly gates in the neck, a tele pickup (most likely a 1/4 pounder) and a JB in the bridge all with nickel/chrome covers. 500k volume with a push/pull switch, a 250k pot for the neck and middle positions and a 500k pot for the bridge. I am also putting Tele chrome knobs on as well.

Enough about my mod job, can't wait to see what you do for yours.
