that explains my plans for the highway 1, my ? is,
250 or 500 pots, All 250K
All 500K
2-250K Tone, 1-500K Volume
2-250K w / TBX Tone-1 - Add $25.00
2-250K w / TBX Tone-2 - Add $25.00 (clapton style)
1-250K w / 2 TBX Tone Pots - Add $50.00 (yngwie style)
1-500K Volume, 1-250K Tone w / TBX Tone-1 - Add $25.00
1-500K Volume, 1-250K Tone w / TBX Tone-2 - Add $25.00
1-500K Volume w / 2 TBX Tone Pots - Add $50.00
im new to selecting p/us and especially doing my own work

250k pots for single coils = best all around tone with those pots.
500k makes the single coils hotter and heavier, but, be aware that sometimes this can muddy the tone. Most of your 500k pots are used with humbuckers. :D

Callaham has a great price on 250ks and they are cryogenically treated to make them sound better. Just google Callaham.

thanks stratoholic, i have read that 500 k pots might make it sound muddy.
