Very cool! That's a great way to make your guitar undeniably yours. I've never seen anything like that before. I'm impressed!

I think the pickguard was purchased from WD Music.

Thanks for your replies! I did also have gold volume & tone knobs, selector switch tip and whammy tip on it, but I found that pretty loud-it was nice, but too loud for me. I will have a look for blue, white and red ones though! Chromeface, you're close, but actually it was this one: http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/product/Strat_ ... ic_ST-2G04 . I like that website, they have a lot of different things. I wasn't aware of this pickguard when I bought the guitar back in June, I just wanted a white strat with a maple fretboard. But I agree, it looks especially good on white. Definitely makes my guitar unique to me, as when I bought it I knew it was just another mexican standard strat.

Happy New Year!

The picture you had posted shows your guitar with the stock white plastic parts.

Can you post another image with the gold-plated stuff?

Best wishes for a happy 2012.

OK, will put it on my list. It's a pain switching the whammy tip over-without that, I can do it soon.

Your axe would look better if you put matching pickup covers, bridge, string guide and tuners.

+1. Should go ahead and finish with matching hardware.

Sounds like a lot of effort to me... But I can see it would look pretty cool like that. How expensive are those? The pickup covers and string guides would be fairly easy to install, but I can see myself messing up the guitar by changing the bridge and tuners.
