I'm in the process of puchasing a Korean made Fender Stratocaster serial # VN307305 for $400. I just dont know whether the price is fair, what year it is from or if its a good Strat to start with since I've never had a Fender before. It's a beautiful guitar, the color is Natural, pearloid pick-guard, maple neck and head with 3 single coil pickups. If you could help me out please let me know, Thanks!

Do they have seymour duncan pickups?

Not quite sure, all I know is that they are white, I will try and post a picture of it later.

Hi Ronw435: I believe I know exactly where your mind is going on this! However, it doesn't sound like this is a MIK Special Edition Lite Ash Strat - unless it has been modded beyond recognition.

JV2025, we don't have near enough info to make an ID. Serial numbers don't tell us models. The only way forward here is for you to post photos so's we can see what you've got - the better the photos the better our guesstimations will be.

I tried posting the pics I took of the MIK Fender Strat but its difficult to post them on here...if u have an email address I can send them to u? I am in the process of buying this guitar at a local pawn shop for $420 and I dont want to buy a fake Fender which is why I am so urgently trying to find more info on it. I sent Fender.com an email with the specifics of the guitar like I posted on this thread but I havent heard back from them. Let me know about sending u the pics since thats all I have since the guitar is still at the pawn shop...I put it on layaway with $55 so if I find out that its a fake I will probably lose my downpayment since they charge a $45 restocking fee. Oh well, live and learn.

I tried posting the pics on here like you all requested but all I keep ending
up with is a box with a red X with the word IMAGE next to it. I clicked on the
Img button and placed the URL inside the two Imgs but nothing. I'll keep
trying...I wish it were easy like the way I posted my profile pic...I don't know
why it's harder to do it this way?!
