hello all....just bought a MIM deluxe players strat ...I usually buy only MIA's ..but, this time, I had budget restrictions..etc... only had it a couple days..and so far, I feel like its an overall VERY good strat...plays easily, tone is decent, etc...my real question is about the 'push/push' button...I don't seem to hear THAT MUCH of a difference either way when pressed or not.....should I hear a dramatic difference (ie, more bass/treble)? thanks in advance!

Congrats on a nice guitar!

That 'push/push' button (on/off switch) activates the neck pickup regardless of where the pickup selector switch is set. No, there would be no "dramatic" difference(s), per se. However, with your pickup selector switch set to the bridge position and the "button" engaged, you'll get the neck and bridge pickups on together, yielding Tele type sounds or, with the pickup selector switch set to the middle and bridge pickup, engaging the "button" allows all three pickups to be on at the same time, yielding a very full, sound.
