This is more like another what pu post but I am really just looking for idea's.

I currently have a stock Highway 1, a completely modded out Squier with EMG SA's, and an ash Strat partscaster that I had intended on outfitting with CS 69 pu's.

My question is, if I do go with the CS 69's will that provide a nicely rounded out Strat family or does anyone have an idea of something else I could throw in there that would help fill in the tonal spectrum?

I primarily play classic bluesy rock.

Just looking for ideas and others input for my ash strat.

I'm not sure you could ever fully have a "rounded out" strat family. Not when there are so many options available. Texas specials, Tex-Mex, CS-54s, Bare-Knuckles, Lindy Fralins, DiMarzios, Noiseless, Vintage Noiseless, Seymour Duncans, SC size HBs, HSS configs, HSH configs, Reverse wound, high output, et etc etc etc the list goes on and on.

Now if you're asking if it will round out your collection, that's something that can only be answered if we know what kind of stuff you like to play. Or, more importantly, what you're playing that the other 2 guitars aren't fulfilling.

Try getting a Telecaster.
