I recently come in to buying this Strat,
It is cream but you can see the wood underneath,
serial number z3077779
I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly what model this is?
It says custom body on the headstock as well..

I don't think so. This guitar, for one, has two string trees. By '03, an American Series would only have a single tree. Off hand, I'd say this is an '03 Highway 1.

Yeah looks like a highway one to me, early highway ones had 2 string trees like that while american standards had 1 at that time.

Are you sure it says "Custom body", or is it the usual "Original contour body" decal you're seeing?

Oh yeah it does say Original Contour Body
So it is a Highway 1 then?
