I was saddened to learn earlier tonight that Ed Roman of Roman Guitars (Las Vegas) had passed away earlier this month. I've visited his site many times over the last couple of years and directed many others to his sites and sometimes strident views on all things guitar.

Rock in Paradise my man, you helped advance guitar making and saved me and others from following the maxim that because it is expensive it must be the dogs bollocks (cough, Gibson).

sh... too many people passed away this year. My guitar technician and friend also...
