Lookin for info on 50's Relics made in 1998 at the custom shop. I picked up one and the certificate just says" Relic Stratocaster" it was advertised as a "57" relic, and i thought the year of the Strat would be on the certificate. Appreciate any help.

The Frontline catalogs from the mid to late 90s just call them, 'Relic Stratocaster' with a rosewood or maple fingerboard option. I'd like one from then...

It might be stamped or written on the butt end of the neck and/or the neck pocket. That means you'd have to remove the neck, though.

On the headstock, what kind of string guide does it have? (ie. disc w/screw or other)

Check with Huber & Breeze in MI... I'm sure they can find one for you if they don't have it in stock already!
