Hello,
I've already wrote you an e-mail about this subject, but I have now more informations at my disposal, so I write again...
I have bought a Fender guitar last days (it arrived by mail on July the 2nd) but I don't really know what is its exact model...(i may seem ridiculous, I know). I have all the informations about it, but I can't find what's its real "name"...Could you help me?

Here are all the informations I have at my disposal:

-Mexican instrument I dated on 2003-2004
-Serial number : MZ3117156
-Part number : 0130114-543
-The colour: I didn't found it in the "colour chart" on the website, but the guitar is dark grey and looks a bit like the "pewter" (43) or "shoreline gold"(44) colour.
-The pickguard is a blue/grey pickguard, with a gliterring "tortoise shell" texture (we call it "écaille" in French)
-There are two simple pickups and one double pickup, and their colour is black, like the tone selector and the volume and tone buttons.
-The guitar has been crafted with a special, sort of "floyd" vibrato
-The metallic plate behind the neck, on the guitar back, has not the "F" or "Fender" inscription : but there is the inscription "038 of 250" on this plate.
-There is a very little sticker behind the guitar's head; On this sticker is the inscription "Fender - Special edition" with a gold star.
-The guitar has been st up at the factory with "Super Bullet strings", says an other sticker on the plastic plate behind the guitar.

So it seems to be a special Mexican model, but which one? Could you help me? Thanks to the Fender community to answer me!
I apologize for my bad English, but I'm French...

Yes it is a customized strat, but it is factory done.
I've seen some of these like Silver sister and Gold sister Strats.
Unfortunately I have no idea what's the name of this limited edition MIM Strat.
Anyway dude if your neckplate says that your guitar is No. 38 out of 250 than it is a limited run, so don't worry ... be happy

I took a look at the link provided above and that's a nice guitar! Number 38 of only 250 made! You should be a proud owner! 8)

Hmm. Looks very close. But the OP mentions a Floyd style bridge - which this one sure doesn't have.

Whether it is the right Strat or not I notice that Mr veni_vedi_vicious hasn't been seen round the Forum since July, so I suspect we may not discover his thoughts on the matter, whether in Latin or English...

Still, nice work, guitarlover215!

Cheers - C
