I don't know what the cut off year is....but the bridges on some of my 9 Highways are indeed 2 1/16 spacing......calling for the PG-8000 OC Graphtech saddles. (shiny Chrome...not brushed)
They are called the IMPORT Strat saddles in their catalogue. I think the bridges are Mexican made.
Some of my earlier Highways have the wider spacing....they are American made...

It's probably one of the last Highway Ones made a couple of months before the series being discontinued and replaced by the American Special line.

In this case we will begin to collect wood, simply.

Minnesotastrats, you are right , you have a 2011 Highway 1

I manage a large music store in Montreal. Archambault Musique, when I saw Highway 1 guitars. The serial number began with US11xxx ...
The seller told me that these guitars were ever made by Fender but it received very little.

That's good to know. I was worried I bought a fake or something. The Fender Support website says nothing about serial #'s that start with US. Thanks

The serial number list at Fender Support is in need of up-dating (and some corrections, unfortunately).

...it makes that run speshul, nothin' wrong with that! It'll have a higher future value if it's made well!
