I much prefer the look of the orange sparkle, but as you've said it now has a combination of parts that play better. And lets face it, its what it sounds like that really matters. And even though I prefer the orange you can't deny that sunburst is one hell of a good looking guitar :)

Congrats man, and good job piecing it together yourself. I think you get a tighter bond with a guitar when you start putting it together yaself :)

Thanks, I'm happy with how it came out. I packed and stashed the orange body and at some point may look for a HWY1/Am.Spec. neck for it. As far as putting it together myself...I wouldn't have it any other way... it's the best way to get what you want and it really isn't hard to learn how it all works and goes together... especially with all the help and resources available here on the forum.
