Yeah all 3 mexican bodies i had were great except the finish was very brittle. Only seemed to be an issue during disassembly and assembly. But the sound was amazing. They are completely different guitars.
I gut my strats and take them apart every time no matter how much they cost. I got a Fender custom shop in my house and i do mine and all my friends work so... If it says Fender on it i know its the best. There are just several levels of best lol.
