I have a Japan strat Q series with serial number Q021552 wich I have played with great pleasure for around 15 years. We have had great times together and have laughed and suffered together. Recently I have started wondering were she started her journey and I asking this forum if anyone know anything about this beautiful girl exept that she was born in Japan sometime between 1993-94. She is a very good sounding guitar with all original parts intact. I have sometimes wondered if I should change the mics, pots etc, but I havent dared to do so in case of loosing some of her unique sound wich I really love. Someone who know anything about her ?

Can't help you much on your question, but you can email Fender Customer Relations at

consumerrelations@fender.com

And they can tell you all the initial specs on your guitar.
