Can anyone help please...

I have recently bought a FENDER 60TH ANNIVERSARY STRATOCASTER (Left Hand) MIM GUITAR, how can I find out what the original specification for this guitar was?

Hi dbasdog,

It is a Standard Strat with a badge on the back of the headstock. All MIM and MIA Strats had the badge, and only certain MIA are actually the Anniversary edition, nothing special about the Mex Standards made that year (2006), except for the badge.

There may be slight variations, such as the newer models have parchment pick guards, but otherwise the same.

Yes, it is a MIM Strat with a badge on the back of the headstock (Serial Number MZ6083069). Based on what is stated so far there is nothing particularly special about this guitar.

Does the serial number mean anything?

All that we can tell from the serial number is that it is MIM 2006 to 2007 (MZ6), and the badge makes it a 2006. You can contact Fender for more info other than that.
