I've got a 1995 MIM Std. Strat that I got for Christmas in 1995. I've loved that guitar for the past 16 years...and I have modded the crap out of it over the years. I've got other strats, but love that one the most. I'm trying to figure out what frets they used (size) in the mid 90's. They feel way smaller than any other strats (except vintage series strats) and I'm thinking that they may just be worn down (you can tell they have a decent amount of wear!), or, possibly, Fender Mexico used vintage size frets on those guitars at the time. Anyone know? I'm looking for another strat for a project, and I want a newer one, because they use alder bodies now, (as opposed to Poplar in my 95) but I don't know if I like the necks as much.

It should be 6230 Vintage (approx .080" x .042"...give or take a few thou), IIRC.
