Alchemy .....

It was quite simple, on my MacBook Pro in I-Photo I just clicked on editing and used touchup to erase the plywood painting bar. The software automatically filled it in with the surrounding background.

The photo's were all taken with a Canon 40D Digital and zoom lens.

the result wasn't intentional but when I looked at the photo it seemed like I had photoshopped it in space and it was just too good of an effect not to post...

And Now it is time for a Leffe ... ( Belgian Beer )

The Photography is very good...and the editing software is excellent...just missed a bit of the "plywood stick" holder

So I was going to wait for a few days to do this but the lacquer is quite cured already, I cannot ding it with a fingernail. Where normally even 24 hours later the finish is prone to indentations.
I was able to set it in its case and get a contrast shot with neck in place...
These were taken with the I-phone 6 so not as clear as my Canon digital..

I'm pleased with how the finish came out but now ... I still have to wait a couple days to assemble, maybe even a week as recommended.....

The suspense is going to be difficult... I want to hear those Texas Specials in the Fender Pro Junior Now !!!!

It's much better in real life... I'm beginning to regret having promised to loan this out to a Pro musician friend.
Sort of reticence to let the children out of the house once grown and ready to fly ...

I've known him for years, just the last guitar I built that I loaned out to him I didn't see it back for 3 months.
Plus he's been aware of this one from the beginning and his 1st comment was " I want it, sold !! "

That feels so good when you stop

Sometime you can use your guitar player as your Bass's low E string ...
