Looking for a specific Stratocaster...

My husband was given a Signature Series Stratocaster when he was a teenager and it was stolen. He doesn't remember the exact part of the series it belongs to but it had some pink lines or splashes on it. Does anyone have ANY clue what kind that guitar is? Any and all advice would be helpful!

Hi there that is a pretty big net you are casting but there are a lot of people here who may help if you can be a bit more specific.
Does he remember when he owned it and was it bought new?
Big or small headstock? Often the artists signature appeared on the headstock.
Anything else comes to mind that might narrow it down.

The first Signature Series Stratocaster to come out I think was Yngwie Malmsteen and Eric Clapton and that was around 1988 Do you have any more detail?
