Hey y'all I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if I could get some advice.
See one of my dads buddies is selling a '93 american made strat with a maple neck and midnight blue paint. trouble is he doesn't know much about it. I was wondering if y'all would know what type of pickups that year had, what the neck was like, and if anyone had any general problems with this year of strat. Thanks

If you post some pictures we may be able to help you to some degree. Unfortunatley just because a guitar was made in a certain year and in a certain country that does not mean there is any info to be taken from those facts because there are a lot of different configurations available each year and they also change every year. Blue, American and 1993 are all that we can discern from your info except that it very likely has a swimming pool route, a topic of traditional debate. In reality you should have the guitar looked at by someone you trust who knows about guitars.
