Hi all,

Since modding my Bladerunner last September (introducing the AmStd small trem arm spring) it's had a fair amount of stick, and I just wanted to let others know that it's been very successful. An arm that stays where you put it, but is easily swung away when necessary - that's how I like it anyway.

I'm not sure if SV has modded the adjustable nylon screw arrangement themselves since I bought mine, but for anyone with the 'old' type who doesn't like the arm play which rapidly develops (or did on mine, anyway), you might like to try this cheap and cheerful mod (described a couple of pages back).

Cheers - Peter.

They have come up with a cure for the loosening tremolo. Its on the site and installed in the new ones. This tremolo is probably the best you can replace a stock Fender with.
It stays in great.
When resting it on the body don't over tighten springs it will actually pull sharp on return at the blade.
Its NOTHING like a Flicker. I researched that further.
Its best to set it to float 1/8 off body as it stays in great and you can use the stock nut with a little grease.
If resting on the body only tighten claw to just sit bridge flush on body gently.

The Blade Runner is the best stock Fender replacement bridge EVER.
