my first post,so please bear with me,cannot find any reference to the strat ultra,it seems
fender have forgotten that they ever manufactured this amazing instrument,i have played
the ultra for ten years or more and it has never let me down ever. what i am looking for
is a copy of owners manual and wiring diagram if still available.

Hey Hemi, great to hear from ya. Nope, the JB wiring is different as it only uses an on/off button to turn off one of the bridge pickups. The Ultra on the other hand does this:

I have a copy of the following manual at home- I have a few pics I will post, however im down in the South Island so when I get back home I can scan the whole thing and post it on here. This is what I have however, you will find Xhefri's illustrations far more resourceful for the Ultra>

All I can say friend is no help to you, but I had an ultra plus and let it go...I am regretting this poor decision even if it was because I was in dire straits. I have never found another and it was the sweetest guitar I have ever owned. Mine was red with the same pickguard as your picture. The sensor laced pu-s, the roller nut and locking tuners were my favorite hardware features. I think it had locking string option at the bridge? I never had a problem dialing in the exact sound I needed for a particular song. I guess I'm just whining and I'm sorry I am of no help. Don't ever get rid of that one!
