Over the weekend, I discovered a set up on my Highway One and Blues Junior that is very sweet that I'll share. Push the preamp volume to 11 + but not 12 and hit the fat switch, treble 5, mid 11, bass 7, reverb 4, master should be set pretty low or you'll get very, very loud. Now set up the guitar with the tone knobs at 3, and the guitar volume at 10 so you get a good overdrive vibe, and go with bridge-mid or bridge. This tone is everything Fender advertises about glassy tone. It's another Highway One sweet spot, the best I've found.

Hello Strat58cat,

I just tried your tone recipe out with my jr. and
American deluxe with vintage noisless and I gotta
say--"That setting sounds great". Thanks for the tip.

Cheers.

my standard set up has been close to that for a while, only difference is I keep the tr at 7 as well and the tone knobs @ 5 and 7. Tried yours and it's very nice as well
