I've just came across photos of a Fender Silver Series Made In Japan.

It is black in color, with white pick guard, Squire Pickups and black color knobs?!?

To my knowledge... i've only seen Squire Silver Series, but i've never seen a Fender Silver Series. I was wondering if its fake as i'm considering buying it.

The specification that the seller gave was...

- 21 frets
- Maple neck
- Rosewood fingerboard
- Selector switch (5 PSN)
- Neck and Middle Fender Squier Pickups
- Bridge pickup: Fender

I say its a Parts guitar

Back in the day when you bought a Squire it had a Fender logo just like that, but I'm not familier with that style of pickups. I can't imagine anyone going through the trouble of making a copy of a Squire. I say ligit and old (the 80s).
