I have been looking at a bass guitar in Islington blue. It's a nice color, anyone got a color code please.

Never heard of Islington Blue. I can't see Fender naming a colour after Islington - it's not what you'd call a glamorous place, unless you're an Arsenal fan.

Hi shaky: this has my curiosity woken up. Where did you get the name Islington Blue, please? Is it an old car colour? If so, there may be a way to go...

It's a Fender bass color.

Islington Blue is a finish used by Bass Collection for their Jive basses.



Fender's version of Islington Blue is Ice Blue Metallic.
