Hey, Mr PH, have a listen to albums by jazz player Pat Martino. He was an accomplished jazzer who popped an aneurism in his brain, and he lost a ton of memory, including how to play guitar. Whew! He threw himself into learning again, using his very own albums to study, and now is better than ever, traveling the world and recording. I've seen him play and met him, and no deficits at all. You can do it too! Hang in there and don't get discouraged.
