I don't think you'd go wrong with some 10-46 sets -- like O-negative blood, they're pretty much "universal".

How about the most recent issue of the Fender Frontline catalog? That'll give that young snuffie something to read in the latrine.

Seriously, PM me if you need any assistance in making this happen.

Bless you and best of luck.

Arjay (two decades plus in uniform)

I'd send parts if I had them. I only have a right handed pickguard off of a Squier.

If i had to send something to someone in war it would be a Fender MIM Strat and a loud Marshall stack!

This project is completed! 8)

Guitar will ship out in a Fender Hardshell case, "double boxed" to protect it.

We found an amp (thank you Amazon.com!) and everything else we needed to make this happen. As parts arrive from vendors, we'll crate everything up for transport on Dec 15th!

The hardest part of this was figuring out WHAT to send.

My thanks to everyone who offered advice and support.

We couldn't have done it without you! :)

It will take 3 weeks at best to arrive there.

Cheers,

Dude,

Without guys like YOU... it wouldn't have happened.

Consider salute returned... Snappy "Semper Fi" style.

You Rock!

PS. I even found him a back-up. A Mexi-strat with Seymour Duncan - Everything Axe Single-Coil Electric Guitar Pickups, for the price of a decent hard shell case.

He's gonna cry... God Bless Him!

It was a team effort. We just reacted to a need, in spite of those who wanted us to fail. A few righteous dudes know what I'm talking about....

They know who they are... and the recipient knows that we're grateful to him, for his commitment to this country.

And the coolest part is that it's being done anonymously. All he'll feel is that we LOVE him.

Amen.
