I have a MIM roadhouse strat. While I love the guitar, I dont love the tortoise pickguard on it. I am looking at a new pickguard and have a question.

If get the pickguard that fits the American Strats will it be a good fit and line up nice? OR should I get the 62' Strat pickguard?

The American Strats pickguard should be a direct replacement. The 62's screw holes may not line up exactly.

As well, the '62-type Fender pickguard requires counter-sunk screws for the pickups and selector switch. The AmStd pickguard uses round-head machine screws.
