Once-while recovering from back surgery I was playing my '65 Strat and there was a terribly annoying buzz that I'd never had before coming through the amp.I tried other guitars-no luck,other amps-no luck, other patch cables-no luck.At this point I was just about to do a Pete Townshend with my gear when I turned off the new TENS machine I was wearing and the buzzing stopped.

I've replaced the flourescent lighting in my music room with track lighting and they make a vast difference in cutting out any unwanted hum or hiss.
