I did a search first but couldn't find much in the messages exept one person requiring information on what to do with an improperly installed Tremsetter. I am very curious about this device. The demonstration/installation video seems straightforward enough. So please, if anyone has information or experiences with this device it will be greatly appreciated.

Check out the Tremel-No too. I think it might be a bit better at doing that hardtail+++ thang. A tad bit more expensive but no drilling, soldering, or "hard" modifications of any type. Seems like it would be a lot easier to install too!

Not into the hardtail sound. From what I understand the Temel-no in floating mode works like an unmodified tremolo. I'm interested in knowing how well the Tremsetter snaps back in tune and how well it stays in tune as it floats like its described to do.

I haven't installed one but I have it on a couple of Strats. If properly adjusted, it appears to work very well indeed. You can feel it working, so it's not as 'smooth' around the center position, but return to pitch - from either direction - is much more positive, which is the whole idea.

Thanks for the info. I really like to vibrato, both with the arm and pumping the bridge with my palmheel. I think maybe this isn't the fix for me. I like things smooth and bouncy for those mirotones. This was valluable information. Thank you.
