Just got a MIM Fat Strat yesterday. I know this question may be real basic, but how far does the tremolo arm screw in? How tight do I screw it in?

there should be a spring that prevents it from going too deep and damaging threads, if you dont have one i suggest getting a few, theyre not that expensive, if you have the spring then screw it in till you cant see the threads any more and a bit more if it still wobbles, ( it should be firm)
