What is truss rod wrenches do the American standard strat and MIM use? I know they are different and the the MIM is slightly larger. I know one of them is 3/16" but not sure which one.

I do my own setups, but I never gave any thought to the size of allen wrench I would use, it was a single that came with the guitar.

:D It's metric, that for sure. You can get those allen wrench kits dirt cheap at any auto parts store, like 4 to 6 bucks for a little fold out thingy with all the sizes on it, SAE or metric.

The reason I ask is because I've seen one really nice 3/16 T- handle with the Fender logo on it that I'd like to get if it fits.

I've searched all the Fender documentation I could find and have never seen anything more than a Fender part number.

I've been doing my own setups since the 70s and I never knew the size of the wrenches. Since they were part of the OEM package, I just always keep/kept them in the case where it was logical (and handy). Sure, I can tell by looking at them now, which one is for which rod, but to this day, I still can't tell you the exact size.
