The Big Apple Strat is one of my favorite Strats. Does anyone know what colors and neck combinations it came in?

3 Colour Burst
Olympic White
Black
Candy Apple Red
Shoreline Gold Metallic
Teal Green Metallic

Looks like the model was discontinued. Available in 2000 but not in 2001 or 2002 or 2003. My records only go back to 1997. It was abvailable in '97, '98, '99 and 2000. Probably renamed the HH Strat.

Rosewood and maple were both available in all years I mentioned.

1997 was Trem only
1998 & 1999 you could get Trem or Hard Tail
2000 was Hard Tail only

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

With the changeover from the "American Standard" banner to "American Series", the Big Apple was re-named the American Double Fat Strat. After Fender discontinued the hot-rodded American Series guitars (which included the American Strat Texas Special [previously Roadhouse Strat] and the American Fat Strat Texas Special [previously Lone Star Strat]) the Stratocaster HH was introduced. Although it was a similar guitar, the electronics and wiring were a bit different from the Big Apple/Double Fat Strat.
