Hello every one! I'm from Russia. And i would like to ask you for some help. I decided to buy my First Fender Stratocaster. It is Japanese. I just a little afraid that this could be a fake. So what do you think? And sorry for my English :) Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the forum,

fotos are way too small. Anyway spring tree placement looks wrong.
Maybe some bigger fotos will help identifying the parts.

Cheers,
Robin

Sorry for the spring tree, I meant string tree the metal things that hold the strings low behind the nut at the headstock.
Fotos don´t work, sorry.

Cheers,
Robin

Hi gnom838

Looks like a genuine 70's japanese reissue strat to me. Cant see anything wrong, date looks to be around 2005 ish.

Sweet guitar, id hang on to it if i were you. Sometimes the pots/switches are a bit iffy but otherwise i reckon there stellar. (very good)

Just a thought, cant see the neck plate very well but it should be a 3 bolt job if its 100% accurate?

Thanke you, Al 87! I think i'll take it, may be today! I've looked for this guitar about a few months, and at last i've found it!

I thought about it, but i don't know yet. If it is 4 bolt job is it wright or it's wrong?

Well a 70's reissue should have a 3 bolt neck, suppose theres a chance someones put a 4 screw plate on but its not something youd expect to see.

Anyone else want to chime in? dont think it would put me off, just a bit strange thats all. :?:
