Post subject: help to identify a stratocaster!

i bought this guitar from a guy cause i really love natural
and i love stratocaster, but not an expert
he told me that it is a 69' reissued strat
but since i dont know much about it. there is no way for me if it's true
any help would be appreciate.

It's a MIM '70's Classic in natural ash. The serial number seems to indicate a build date of 2002. They're nice guitars -- in some respects better than the originals that they're intended to emulate.

......And the body would be alder, with a conventional 4-screw neck attachment sans the micro-tilt feature.

Also the neck plate would be 4 bolt and not 3 bolt.

Yep, a very decent guitar, a Fender Classic Series 70's Stratocaster.....made in Mexico.
