but is there like a big difference

The PRS line of American built guitars and their Korean build SE line, are all quality instruments within their materials and price structures. Paul made it very clear, in a fine interview I read, that the quality control and standard to detail overseas would be very strict. A similar view can be had for the Fender line, from Squier>MIM>MIA>CS. They are very different instruments, with respect to tone, and feel. At the end of it all, you are going to have to get out there and audition quite a few instruments and make up your mind for yourself. What interests me, in particular is, that nothwithstanding the fact the Orianthi has a Signature PRS SE, her stage guitars are all PRS Customs. :?

Orianthi, the guitarist most known for being about to have her big break going on tour with Michael Jackson is all I have to say to that question.

She's a huge fan of Santana (and I believe ws actually discovered by him) as well as Steve Vai. She plays PRS and I believe even has her own SE model. Since MJ passed on she's been keeping herself busy with a solo career as well as being a sidewoman for many big acts... I'm actually sure that I just read recently that she's on tour with Alice Cooper at the moment. If you're familiar with Alice Cooper's live show over the past few decades, you'll know that it really takes a great guitarist to be able to become a member of his band.
