I obtained a 2005 '65 fender relic Strat wich was part of a series now discontinued. I ended up selling , and always regretted it. If my memory serves me,it had phenomenal glassy piano like tones wich I've never been able to duplicate. I read a comment online written by someone who stated that they thought it produced"that" tone. I cannot try one out if I shop Ebay ,so I need to know if my memory is correct. If you've tried or owned one of these I'd like to know if my recollection is correct and if any other Fender Strats , Teles, or any other brand of guitar can match that tone. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
