scarleg, that natural finish is awesome! I think that would look badass with a black pickguard, PU covers, knobs etc. It really looks good as it is, but everytime I see one of those natural finishes I picture it with black. Really nice axe!

It has crossed my mind...I think I just want to let the pickguard age out yellow a bit and I'm good to go.Thanks for the compliments.I love this axe...it was meant for me
Here's are a couple options I thought about and they all look killer! The neck I have on my guitar as you can see is tinted just enough to match the body so its not that real clean (raw) maple look (like below) which looks great on some guitars.It wouldn't look right not tinted on mine as you can see in the smaller pics I did.

That Loar is sick. It puts some $1000 guitars to shame. The Loars and Recording King guitars Music Link pump out are the best lam back and sides I have ever played. I would take my $400 Loar over a $1000 lam back and side Martin any day.
