HI Gang, I just got a 2011 MIM standard strat with 3 tone sunburst a maple neck with black vol/tone knobs and black pick up covers. I have ordered Texas Special pick ups and they seem to only have whit pick up covers, can the old black covers replace the new white covers? the white would seem out of place.. any ideas a I have never had any experience with this stuff, Thanks, Mark

Pickup covers should be removable. The only fender pickups where the covers should never be removed/can't be are vintage noiseless I think. You should ask an expert though.

The only time I've had an issue swapping pickup covers was when I swapped pickups on my daughters Squire. I found the Squire pole pieces are not as spread out as MIM/MIA single coils. Oh, and SCN and Vintage Noiseless pups I do not believe have removable covers.

The pickup covers from any genuine Fender accessory set will fit the Texas Specials.
