Post subject: Can anyone get me some info on this Fender?

Just came across my fathers old Fender, Been trying to get info everywhere on the web and im getting nowhere. Here are a few pictures I have taken and if you cannot see it the
serial code is E023333

Just really want any information you can digg up on this!

Hello RyanF It looks like it is a Fender The Strat from the early eighties. See link to site with some information.

Southcoast is correct; it is a "The Strat"; probably from 1980 (assuming the "E0XXXXX" holds true).

They were only made from 1980 through 1982 (maybe into early 1983) so there aren't that many of them around.

Any idea on what there worth? i dont think ill sell as it has sentimental value but out of curiosity what are they valued as?

What kind of knobs are those? Look like video game push buttons from an old arcade game.

The shop I was dealing with back then had a couple of these (both a blue one and a red one); the knobs were brass - like the tremolo.

These had a master volume and a master tone; the bottom switch was a two-position rotary knob - I don't remember the exact wiring but it was designed by Dan Armstrong so you got 9 different sounds off the 5-way blade switch (it seems like one position on the 5-way was the same in both settings of the 2-position rotary switch).
