If you still can't find what you are looking for try Chandler Pickguards. I've had them make me custom PG's and their prices are reasonable. Here is a link if you need it.

This is funny as I just (today) received a Left Handed Tortoise Shell pickguard for my Am Strat.

Got it from:

WD Music
www.wdmusic.com

Looks great and it's quality work. Paid $63 for it. Good luck finding a left handed one (new) for under $50.

Thanks for the link! I just bought a white pearl pickguard for a left-handed cherry red strat yesterday! (It's going to look awesome once I slap it in!)

Wow. Now that I've seen those links, I believe I'm going to order a checkerboard pattern pg for my Nashville Tele that should be coming in soon.

I just didn't like the look of the brown/tortoise on a red guitar, so I was thinking about replacing it with a black one, but checkers is so much cooler.

Question for the experienced guys out there: so I just got the pickguard and want to put it on. I get the fact that the pickups are connected - what is the best and easiest way to remove the strings?

I'm a beginner- from what I have seen around the web it looks easy but could use some guidance.

Thanks in advance.
